Day 32

Hello!!! Today was sooooo fun! Our dear friends Ayako, Kaz, and Makoto picked me up from my house today! We then drove to Shibuya, Tokyo. We got lunch at a really cool place and Chikako met us there. Ayako, Kaz, and Chikako’s english is very good. Makoto doesnt really speak much english. Chikako is very nice and I liked talking to her. After lunch Makoto had to go home to study for entrance exams for university. The rest of us went shopping and their youngest daughter Satoko joined us! We shopped and shopped and shopped. I spent SO much money its insane. Still probably cheaper than anerican prices. I spent ¥39,650 (about 240 usd) on two shirts 😕. Id say it was worth it though. They then took me home! It was so fun and Im happy I got to see them. When I got home, we opened a package that my mom sent. Hi mom if youre reading this I skimmed your letter to me, there were some words I couldnt read. I also read the family your letter and they love it. We had curry for dinner! I love curry. I could eat curry all day every day. We then had chocolate covered cherries for desert! Im so sleepy after walking around all day so Good night!

Past few days.

Hello everyone! I know its been a couple of days. I have been pretty busy! Two nights ago, I was at a camp for yfu kids and I barely had any reception. Last night I typed this post pit but I fell asleep before posting it lol. So this is what happened the past three days. On saturday, I went to this gigantic mall with Nanami, Ibuki, and Stef. It was huge and it was sooo fun! I bought an expensive bracelet (sorry mom) but it was cheaper here than it would be in the US so a win is a win. The next day, I had to go to a YFU camp in the middle of no where with some YFU kids. It was pretty fun but I wanted to spend time with my host family instead. They served us dinner and we played a bunch of games and stuff. The next day, so yesterday, they took us to Narita to see a famous temple. The temple was amazing. Last day 🥲

Today was my last full day in Japan. Im soooooo sad. I dont want to leave 💔. Today felt like any other day. I woke up and had breakfast. We hung out until it was time to go out and get some lunch. We got takoyaki! It was really good. After that, we went shopping for some last minute things! We then started dinner after returning home. We had an italian style dinner! It was really yummy. After putting Halu to bed and packing the remaining stuff, we played skull king! It was so much fun and my host parents really liked it. My host dad ended up winning with me in second and my host mom in last. Its been so nice here and im so thankful to have stayed with them! Goodnight!

Day 34

Todays post will be a little short! Im sooooo tired. Today was awesome! This morning was pretty chill but this afternoon my friends (stef, nanami, and ibuki) came over for a gyoza (dumpling) party! We went to the store to buy the groceries and got started. we had a lot of fun making them and I cant wait to make them again. We cooked them up and had dinner. It was so fun! There were many laughs and memories made. It makes me sad that I leave soon :(. It was so fun and Im so grateful to have made such good friends  This may be the last time Ill see them before I leave so it was kinda bittersweet. Ill miss them dearly but hopefully we’ll meet again! Goodnight!
