Day 19

Hi! Today was okay. I toured the kikkoman factory today! The factory I visited was in the northern part of the Chiba Prefecture. I got to see how all the soy sauce was made and it was really cool. I didnt take many pictures while inside as there were some areas that were off limits to pictures. Then I had lunch. Lunch was kinda gross. After we went through the process of making soy sauce! I learned a bunch about soy sauce and kikkoman today! I learned that kikkoman has their own type of mold that they use to ferment the soy beans, they are the only supplier of soy sauce for the imperial household, and they have used the same four ingredients since kikkoman was first founded during the Edo period. At the end of pur time at kikkoman, they surprised us with tickets to Tokyo Disney! After that my day went sour. Some kids wanted to hang out and get dinner and Stef kinda invited me. Well after I texted my host mom, Stef came up to me and actually asked me not to come. So! I went home with her host mom! That was just awesome! I held back tears on the train 💔. But now im not sad im just pissed off. So that was great. I went home and me and my host family hung out. We had a really good dinner! My host mom told me she probably couldnt go to disney with me because she would have to take care of the baby. I asked my classmate to come with me so we will go together! A good ending to a semi rough day! Goodnight everyone!
