Day 28

Helloooooo! Today was pretty good. I had school today but they were testing. The teacher took me to the library where I was to sit until school was over. I facetimed my mom and sister so I could see my baby bun bun. We talked for a bit and it was nice. Then me and stef decided to leave a little early because we didnt want to sit there. We ended up leaving and who do we see on the platform also leaving??? Nanami! We all ended up leaving and going bsck to toke station and getting burgers! I got a teriyaki burger with an egg on it and it was soooo good. Then we went to a crepe shop and I got a crème brûlée crepe and it was honestly so delicious. 10/10 would eat again. Then we talked about our plans for tomorrow. I returned home and my host mom had an appointment so I stayed home. I got a bloody nose that wasnt too bad but I was still a little lightheaded. Mom i was right when I told you I should’ve brought my big vaseline because Im about to run out and im panicking because i havent seen any in the stores. Anyways, I rested until time for dinner! Dinner was delish , we had fried chicken with lemon juice, salad, rice, and an eggroll. We were cleaning up when all of a sudden it started torrential downpouring rain. We were kind of amazed because it had been on and off light raining all day. All was well until lightning and thunder hit! It kinda surprised me at first because my host mom said it almost never storms like that in Japan. She was so scared. I told her its okay! And soon enough, the storm passed and everyone was okay. Past few days.

Hello everyone! I know its been a couple of days. I have been pretty busy! Two nights ago, I was at a camp for yfu kids and I barely had any reception. Last night I typed this post pit but I fell asleep before posting it lol. So this is what happened the past three days. On saturday, I went to this gigantic mall with Nanami, Ibuki, and Stef. It was huge and it was sooo fun! I bought an expensive bracelet (sorry mom) but it was cheaper here than it would be in the US so a win is a win. The next day, I had to go to a YFU camp in the middle of no where with some YFU kids. It was pretty fun but I wanted to spend time with my host family instead. They served us dinner and we played a bunch of games and stuff. The next day, so yesterday, they took us to Narita to see a famous temple. The temple was amazing. Last day 🥲

Today was my last full day in Japan. Im soooooo sad. I dont want to leave 💔. Today felt like any other day. I woke up and had breakfast. We hung out until it was time to go out and get some lunch. We got takoyaki! It was really good. After that, we went shopping for some last minute things! We then started dinner after returning home. We had an italian style dinner! It was really yummy. After putting Halu to bed and packing the remaining stuff, we played skull king! It was so much fun and my host parents really liked it. My host dad ended up winning with me in second and my host mom in last. Its been so nice here and im so thankful to have stayed with them! Goodnight!

Todays post will be a little short! Im sooooo tired. Today was awesome! This morning was pretty chill but this afternoon my friends (stef, nanami, and ibuki) came over for a gyoza (dumpling) party! We went to the store to buy the groceries and got started. we had a lot of fun making them and I cant wait to make them again. We cooked them up and had dinner. It was so fun! There were many laughs and memories made. It makes me sad that I leave soon :(. It was so fun and Im so grateful to have made such good friends  This may be the last time Ill see them before I leave so it was kinda bittersweet. Ill miss them dearly but hopefully we’ll meet again! Goodnight!
